It's not just cats and dogs!!

This week an unsual pet came to visit Elisabetta, our Specialist Exotic Vet, at Rosemary Lodge Hospital.  Cracker came in, supported by her friend Gem, to see Elisabetta as she had been unwell for some time.  She was anaesthetized and x-rays confirmed that she had egg yolk peritonitis. Unfortunately, the medical treatment proved ineffective and Cracker had to go in surgery. Cracker was a real fighter and recovered well after a very long and difficult procedure (right).

Gem was a great support for her sick friend and called for her while she was in surgery. Once awake, Cracker ran immediately to see Gem.   The following day Cracker was already feeling better and dunked her head directly into her favourite bag…....... of worms!!

Elisabetta thanks Cracker and Gem for the lovely flowers, chocolates and cards she received from them!
