Dr Virginia Richardson
Vee Richardson qualified in 1986 and recently moved from the new forest where she worked in small animal practice. Her special interests include Rabbits, Guinea pigs and acupuncture. When she's not at work she likes competing and teaching heel work to music. (dog dancing!)
Jane has been working at Melksham for many happy years. Her pets include a lovely Jack Russell called Nasha, two cats called Horace and Tigger. She enjoys walking, dining out, travelling and cooking many different cuisines.
Peter Winnick SVN
Lisa Walters RVN
Lisa qualified in 2008 from the University of Bristol. Her particular work interests include nurse clinics, emergency and critical care nursing, running puppy parties (at Melksham and Rosemary Lodge) and nutrition. She has achieved a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, the Royal Canin APHC award,and is a BVNA Diabetes Advisor and has completed courses in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. She joined BVG in 2014 and works at both Melksham and Rosemary Lodge surgeries. Outside work her hobbies include dancing, rescuing hedgehogs and other wildlife, sewing and exploring outdoors.
Jay graduated from Writtle University in May 2013 with a degree in Equine Studies and Business Management and joined the Bath Vets team in the October. Jay enjoys spending time with her horse, walking her dog Ted and looking after her little boy Joseph.
Pete is originally from Australia he moved over to the UK about 8 years ago. He has a degree in microbiology. Pete started working for Bath Vets in June 2016 as a student nurse. Previous to working for Bath Vets Pete had been a ski instructor and a chef! Pete works both at our Melksham surgery and Rosemary Lodge.
Rebecca Marshall is based at Marshfield and Melksham. Outside of work Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and walking their 2 dogs Scrumpy and Gypsy. Rebecca also has 2 cats called Woody and Marmite.
Dr Laura Bateman
Laura qualified in 2014 from Nottingham University and recently moved from Oxfordshire where she spent 3 years in small animal practice. She enjoys both surgery & medicine, she has a particular interest in rabbits. In her spare time Laura enjoys using her creative skills, exploring her new home in Bath & spending time with her rescue cat Otto.
Emma first started working at BVG for work experience in February 2017. After a short period of time, she began as a full time employee working as a kennel assistant.
Emma enjoys working with all species of animals, but definately has a soft spot for cats. She has her own feline friend at home named Lupin!
Previous to working at BVG, she spent 10 years as an Aseptic Technician making chemo and anitibiotics for hospitals and homecare patients.
Outside of work, her hobbies include hockey, travelling and dining out.
